It’s been awhile…

Seeing how it has been nearly (if not) two months since I posted anything, and the fact that I’m not really doing anything else right now, thought I might make a post about the goings-on of me, your illustrious host. Finally got around to actually talking to my “friend”, Britney. It was good talking to her, seeing as we hadn’t talked in three or four months. We are going to try to stay in contact more often and try to make time to hangout more, but I’m not going to sweat it if we can’t. I just finished my horror movie class. No matter how I end up grade-wise I really don’t care. I’ve already graduated and was mainly just taking the class for the hell of it. One of the upsides to the class is that for my final paper, I ended up writing a short screen-play called Jason Goes to Heaven. I may at some point be able to do some re-writes and actually try to film it.

Knock, knock, knocking on heavens door

I went to the doctor last week. No major changes in my health, for the better or the worst. Changed my blood pressure meds so that I no longer have my blood pressure dropping dangerously low. I’m still in the process of trying to get Medicaid for my impending kidney doom. Right now the main thing I’m waiting on before I apply is a recommendation  letter that my doctor is going to write saying that for the treatment that I require, I need financial assistance. After I get that in order, around I would say February or March of next year, I will probably start kidney dialysis and then hopefully acquire a new and functioning kidney soon after.  Sort-of on the same wavelength, I’ve also recently discovered that without really realizing it, I’ve stopped drinking, at least for the time being. It’s what is probably best for me, given some of my history at the parties I’ve been to. Speaking of parties, I went to a party at one of my old theatre  professor’s houses last night, mainly for the fact that I do occasionally miss some of my old theatre friends. Also it gave me a chance to try to bolster attendance to my friends’ New Years Party, The Playaz Ball. This year will be the first time since the first Playaz Ball that I am going to be sober, so we’ll see how that turns out.

He returns

It’s been awhile, so here’s with the current events. I’ve recently been entertaining thoughts of dropping my Horror Movie class out at UAFS mainly because I’ve not really been doing the “written responses” to them, but I figured out that since I still have not filled out my paper work for my substitute teaching job I need something productive to do with my time so I think I’ll stick it out and start pulling my weight in the class. On that front I’m about to write a paper about Jamie Lee Curtis’ character in Halloween being the prototype cliche for the last girl archetype for most slasher flicks.

Also on the front of making use of my time, I mistakenly decided to drop by my old stomping grounds at the UAFS theatre department a couple of weeks ago which resulted in me becoming a scenic painter for their production of Anton Chekhov’s “Three Sisters”. Due to them being behind schedule, for two weeks I was going up there a 2:00 and leaving around 6:00 and then heading back up there at 10:00 and staying till as late as 2:00 in the morning. Also at one point Pablo wanted me to go on the festival trip, but I got out of that.

Now if I could only work out how to get my head to do this with out dying.

In other news, I finally have my motorcycle license.

Why is this jewel blinking red?

Well it finally happened. I’ve turned 30. Time for Carousel and Renewal.

Oh…. maybe I should start running.

Long live the new flesh!

Due to popular demand, I have decided to make a posing today. I guess I’ll start trying to do this at least once a week.  It’s been about two weeks since I had the surgery on my left arm to rewire my veins for my eventual dialysis and I seem to be healing up pretty well with only a tiny scar to show for it. It does now feel as  though that I now have weird-robotic machinations going on under the surface of my arm now when you touch it.

Behold, the New Flesh!

Aside from this, since my birthday is later this month, and it is a milestone (I’m turning 30) my friends and I have been trying to plan some sort of shindig, though honestly, my main motivation for actually doing something this year is that it will be a good excuse to get this girl I’m friends with  to come down and hangout with me and my friends, which reminds me I haven’t actually talked to her since before my surgery. I should do that.  I also still need to finish her gift I was going to give her for her birthday last month. Here’s a video for your entertainment. Jackie and I watched this movie Saturday night. For the awesomeness, fast forward to 0:43 and keep in mind it is NWS for 80′s sex montage.

Still watching questionable 80′s movies

After a previous night of watching such great 80′s cheese like “Night of the Demons”, Night of the Comet”, and “Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama” with my friends, you would think I would be smart and not watch anymore brain-damaging awesome movies from the 80′s, but then again, anyone who knows me will know about my ability to find entertainment in almost anything from my youth. I just got done watching “Vice Academy” for I guess what would be the first time since I first saw it many years ago on “USA Up-All-Night”. This would also be the first time I saw it with the T N’ A intact. I kind-of had to resort to drinking to finish it this time though (what twenty some- odd years will do to ones ability to watch dumb movies). It is still pretty damn entertaining though so I guess I don’t regret spending 8 dollars for the first three movies of the series box-set. I guess as the week goes by I’ll try and watch the rest of the set. Who knows, it may be next weekends bad movies from Trey’s collection movie night.Sort of on the same wave length of stupid things that remind me of my youth, Here is a fake flesh-light  trailer for the masses starring Jenna Haze. It’s not that it has a pornstar in it that reminds me of my youth; it is that the trailer reminds me of every teen-sex comedy trailer that I’ve ever seen. It is not exactly work-safe so don’t look at it if you are at work.

It even has an 80′s cheesetastic theme song  playing in the background. Also after the amazing awesome and inappropriate gift The Saint gave me for Christmas last year, I couldn’t help but post this hilarity. This is for you buddy.

Here I am, Rock You Like a Hurricane.

This site was started originally way back at the beginning of January 2011 for a Jane Austen literature class I thought I needed to take. I ended up dropping it because as it turned out I already had the requisite English credit I needed to graduate, but since the site still exists I thought I may want to start using it. Starting this week I will begin to give it that New-Trey smell
